You Asked.
We Answered.

  • WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO HAVE AN INDIVIDUAL LEASE?

Individual leasing means that each person is only responsible for their portion of the common areas and their bedroom. If your roommate ends up not coming back for the spring semester, you’re not responsible for their payment.

  • WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE RENT?

Naismith Hall’s rent includes utilities (electricity, water, sewer, and trash), high-speed internet, an all-inclusive meal plan, all your apartment furniture, access to all of Naismith Hall’s amenities, and a wonderful team that is there to help you anytime you need them.

  • DO YOU HAVE A ROOMMATE MATCHING SYSTEM?

Yes, we offer a roommate matching system. If you don’t have anyone in mind that you would like to live with, let us match you with someone!

  • WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF THE LEASE CONTRACT?

For your convenience, Naismith offers lease terms commencing in August and ending in May. Your first rental installment is due on or before move-in day with the remaining 9 installments due on the first of every month. Rent is a lump sum for the lease term. Understanding this is less than 10 months for a first-time resident, the lump sum amount is split into 10 equal installments. Please don’t hesitate to contact our leasing team with any questions!

  • HOW DO I PAY MY RENT?

We accept payment via check, money order, or through the
online system.

  • WHAT IF I NEED MAINTENANCE IN MY BEDROOM OR APARTMENT?

If you need maintenance, simply go to your resident portal on our website and fill out a maintenance request. You can also call or stop by the front desk. If it is an emergency, please notify the front office immediately.

  • WHAT FURNITURE IS PROVIDED?

Naismith Hall is a fully furnished community. Furniture is provided in all units at no additional cost. Bedroom furniture consists of a full-sized bed, large desk and chair, and dresser.

  • HOW DO I RECEIVE MAIL AND PACKAGES?

Your mail will be delivered to your apartment’s mailbox located in the Naismith Hall lobby.

  • WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY NEW APARTMENT?

We suggest you bring bedding for an extra long twin bed, toiletries, and decorations to make your new room feel like home!
